It is with a broken heart that I tell you that my little son, Elijah Frederick Sorensen, passed away in his sleep last night. He was about 3 1/2 months old. We loved him with all our hearts and will miss him forever. Thank you to all of you who left kind words and wishes upon his birth in March.

Elijah Frederick Sorensen, 3 months, of Madison was carried by the angels home to Jesus on Saturday. He is survived by his parents, Kirk Frederick and Quincy Kaye Parrott Sorensen of Madison; two sisters, Zoe and Kaija Sorensen; grandparents, Frederick Keith and Juelle Sorensen, and Oren and Penny Parrott; great-grandmother, Dorothy Way; four aunts; five uncles; and five cousins. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Slaughter Road. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Bishop Barlow Blake officiating. Burial will be in Faith Memorial Park. Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville is in charge of the arrangements.
