Thanks Jack, a much better reply than mine.

At that subject, I really would be immensely interested in a nonradioactive fuel salt test (with a HIGH concentration of non radioactive fission products in it) with one of the stabilized austenitics, preferably SS316Ti. And if possible, not a coupon in isolation but a welded pipe of sorts. And a piece of graphite in the salt loop to investigate electrochemical transfer of chromium. That kind of experiment should be cheap and would be a big help for cementing the case of MSRs in general.

Cyril,
KickStarter a project and offer things like samples of the salt and sections of the pipe to the large donors.

Everyone should get pdf of the final report while intermediate and large donars get progressively fancier printed versions. Check with the Sustainable Abundance Center to see if there is a synergy that can be built.
