I was just watching the movie "LE JOUR DE VÉRITÉ" (the Day of Truth) on the publicly funded French-German TV channel ARTE, which can be received in a number of European countries. The storyline is basically about an ex-employee of a nuclear power plant who hijacks the control room of this power plant in order to avenge his daughter who has died of cancer. The movie seemed to be inspired by "The China Syndrome", but is less suspenseful and somewhat predictable, especially in conveying an anti-nuclear message. What irked me especially was the message or warning that "more than 400 nuclear reactors are operational worldwide of which more than 200 in Europe" at the very end of the film.

ARTE also has a second movie ("Mon cher petit village") in the anti-nuclear agitprop series, which will be shown tomorrow (Friday 9th of January), which will be about a nuclear waste storage site in a French village.

These movies can also be watched online in some European countries (http://www.arte.tv), so you can learn that your tax money is spent on anti-nuclear agitprop.

That was the aim of the 68 generation to Infiltrate the Administration and the government.

Today most of the anti nuclear agiprop is funded by the government
The funding of the climate hoax is even worse.

Anti-nukes and Climate-change deniers are two sides of the exact same coin. Both hold illogical opinions that are counter to all available evidence.

Nah, the evidence is all a carefully orchestrated plot by the evil, evil nuclear industry and the evil, evil scientists trying to exonerate themselves for having developed evil, evil nuclear weapons

Its good to see our tax money at work to spread so much fear and lies, a true beacon amidst all this confusing evidence.

For every nuclear powerplant out there, there's got to be a dozen organisations full of people who don't understand the difference between Becquerels and Sieverts. Don't bother talking with them. They'll call you a nuclear industry shill if you even know how to spell the word Sievert.

I already saw a documentary movie from ARTE about long-lived nuclear waste storage in France. I don't know if it is me who is not fair because of my pro nuclear bias but for me the movie was clearly anti nuclear propaganda. It seems to me that the film contained several errors, even things that physically doesn't make sense like " these products will be highly radioactive during hundreds of millions of years ". There was unfair things like " This responsable did not tell us if ..." but they didn't ask him. The things are presented like if all the engineers and responsables are idiots or corrupted but the anti nuclear guys are intelligent, wise, free and have popular common sense.

There are several documentary movies about nuclear coming from ARTE. For example they made a movie about dismantling. The title is "Centrales nucléaires, démantèlement impossible ? " ( " Nuclear power plants, impossible decommissioning ? " ), a specialist wrote an article to debunk their propaganda ( it's in french : http://www.lesobservateurs.ch/2013/05/31/arte-desinforme-sur-le-demantelement-des-centrales-nucleaires/ ).

In France nearly all the newspapers are leftists and they hate nuclear. I have the feeling that they hate nuclear only because they are leftist even if sometimes they understand nothing about it. During the Fukushima accident a journalist wrote that the reactor functioned on fast neutrons because there was no water to moderate it and of course the spent fuel pool n°4 was going to destroy the world.

On the other side I believe that some politicians support nuclear only because they are rightists. For example during Fukushima one politician said that the EPR was safer because of the double containment ( it is even more funny when you know that a lot of the previous PWRs also have a shield wall although not as strong as the EPR's one ).

(PS : I have no problem with guys who are leftists or rightists, I personally don't like those kinds of political classification because I agree sometimes with one side and the other times with the other side).
